I don’t know about you, but to me it seems that in the past few months life has sped up. I’ve felt myself juggling not just the day-to-day physical needs of myself and my family, but the emotional needs as well. My schedule has filled up and my mind seems to be busier than ever. So much to think through, plan, and get done!
It’s been so easy to get caught up in all the needs around me. I finally realized that my mind had become so overwhelmed by my “to do” list that I hadn’t taken time to deeply connect with myself, my values, and my priorities.
My mind had become so full that there just wasn’t enough room for those important things like…
connection
and joy
and laughter…
those important values that make life so rewarding. The busyness, rushing and overwhelm had crowded out the joy.
